Welcome to my Art Studio where I share my love of watercolor and oil painting. My studio includes a number of my paintings, as well as how some of the painting compositions were developed.

The encouragement of my family and friends have greatly influenced my art. Having grown up in New England, winter and fall landscape scenes have been my favorite subjects to paint. Since moving to Norfolk, the Chesapeake Bay and the local area have become new sources of inspiration and subject matter. Norfolk is also where I began to paint with oils after observing Plein Air artists in East Beach.

When choosing a scene or subject, I consider how I can capture its beauty on paper or canvas. I like to bring the viewers attention to details they may not notice when observing in real time.
